The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center is a 92,000 SF, LEED certified, multi-functional facility located on a ten acre site in Salem, Oregon. The Kroc Center was designed to allow The Salvation Army to offer programs to the community in a way that embodies their service and mission in the 21st century. The Kroc Center boasts a variety of features including gymnasium, competition and recreation pool, fitness center, a wing of classrooms, a library, computer lab, art rooms, teen room with TV’s and gaming systems, multi-use community rooms with outdoor terrace for large banquets, conference rooms, full service kitchen, an outdoor amphitheater and prayer garden, and a 282- seat Chapel.

We are uniquely proud of our work on this project. From utilizing Value Engineering ideas that saved our clients many thousands of dollars to building a space within one of our office communities, the KROC center is one of LCG Pence’s shining stars.
